Christmas break...TAKE 1

All of us Wyoming TEACHERs had to work 'til the end of Wednesday...it was a PUSH>>>but we made it...I wore my BEST attire to keep their attention.

Then on Thursday...it was off to the HILL...and we had about an HOUR that looked like this.

THEN to the BAR...I had this drink...called the HUNGE....(if you live here and haven't had it...YOU MUST get up to the TRAP bar right away and get this drink)...it'll KNOCK your socks off...literally.
then there was the walk back to NOT short of a photo session

AND a CHRISTMAS EVE trash collecting...it was beautiful out!!!
then off to the HOCKEY rink...PS-whit says HOCK-kee perfectly...
EVE snuggles...and opening 1 pressie.
Santa came at 11pm
Whityn woke at 5:02AM
went straight for the slide...then the stocking...(this kid loves stickers)
ANd then he unwrapped the dogs' presents....and handed them out.
The tunnel was a hit Nannie...

Aunt Eva, Uncle Greg and Joshua sent these cool HANDMADE cars....WHityn loved them.
then there was the WOODEN blocks....Jordy loved them.
Present action.
my new shoes....that I LOVE>...but THEY ARE TOOOOOO LITTLE>>>sometimes I hate being BIG...ugh. I traded them in for a SKHOOP skirt....
OUR MORNING>>>>....so fun.
then down POLE CANYON for a CHristmas stroll.

a little popcorn snack the day after Christmas....our time off together is oh so nice....HERE is where I LOVE LOVE LOVE the OFF time of being a TEACHER....and being married to one...we are having a great time just being together, snowboarding, playing outside, hockey...and time with friends....we MISS our family though!!!!

Griffins on the GO.

One of us Griffins came to a SLIDING stop this Wednesday...

yes me....:( I got into a car accident on Wednesday after leaving school. I had asked to leave early so that I could try and make the post office and then meet Jordy in Victor to get one car to head back to Alta for our SCHOOL Christmas party...well, about a mile from school, it appeared as though a truck were backing out of this neighbor on the right...and he was fully in my lane...with an oncoming car in the other lane...so I started to pump....my...breaks...AND.GOT.NOTHING because i was on a SHEETOFICE....so, I plowed into the truck on his passenger side door and slid off into the snow...the drivers side was blocked due to snow...and I was panicking cause I couldn't see....and then I remembered that I wore my glasses..and they must of flown off my face during impact...feeling around on the floor...got 'em....crawled out the passenger door...to ask this guy what he was doing?....he wasn't "in fact" reversing...he was sliding...and had stopped there...UGH....while I am asking him about his car..he asks me to sit down cause he noticed I was bleeding from my head...down my neck onto my blue patagonia jacket...then I see it...and start to have the shakes....wonder if I am okay?....sirens....backboard, neckbrace....gauze wrapped head...and a nice little ambulance ride to the hospital....6 staples in my head....and a tetanus shot...and a little bruise on my back-bum....and off the homefront i went...minus my CAR....we won't know the details of my car until the 28th.....because there have been so many accidents....ugh. THANK god i am okay. THank God WHityn wasn't in the car....after a day off with my family....back to work on Friday...we were RIGHT back in it this weekend....JORDY drove to jackson on Saturday morning to TEST for his YELLOW belt with his students..he did it....he is so proud....

Saturday night...we went to Jade's house for a XMAS/housewarming...HOLIDAY par-TAY!!!!
WHitty had his share of yogurt-covered pretzels...yum
we packed out both floors of Jade's house...I watched whitty run circles around her staircase....TERRIFYING circles...
then he chased the cat....
then we ALL did some firepit time!!!!
THEN...OFF we went to PAR=teeee number 2 at DAve's house...
and the GRIFFINS stayed on the bottom floor where it was KID friendly...and EASY....we had a white elephant gift game...where we scored this cute bear that lays on his belly and holds the wine in his paws....pics to come.
SUnday....I baked...and baked....and baked...and we went outside to build a snowman....SEE video....this is just his back! Happy "ALMOST" Christmas break...Jordy and I are off on Thursday...we can't wait.

I went to meet Santa on Saturday...

but first I sat under the avocado tree with mom and dad
then I did some exploring...in a pot as big as me.
Then dad took me on a DRIVE.BY.SANTA.VISIT
and I held on for DEAR life...
thank god they took me home where I could have some peace and quiet.
then I prepared myself for the great outdoors....
sledding...not walking...I hate walking in the white stuff
but sometimes momma makes me.

and I got to hang up the new ornament in honor of me and my first canoe-camping trip this past summer.
