so, 7 years ago yesterday Jordy and I went on our first "date" to see Chuck Pyle at Dornans. So every year....(except for last year...cause I was preggo lego and barfing...) we head to Dornans for our special night...and every year...we always say..."MAN, I wish we were staying the night..." so this year..we did..in a very cozy cabin in the woods....
We hauled over the pass, checked in..., told the VERY responsible teenagers what to do with Whit, LEFT.....tried to not THINK too much about it....ate calzones....(they are the best at Dornans)....listened to a heartfelt, emotionally charged show put on by Mr. Pyle himself....chatted with old friends and met some new ones too...then off we RAN..hand in hand..in the dumping down snow back to our little cozy...warm...cabin in the woods....and found one teenager on the couch...the other walking toward Whit....with bottle in hand....ready to feed the EATING machine...they were great...it was great...what an awesome night...
Next morning..we wake early...do a Pearl St. bagel and coffee stop off...head to Alta....I got chauffeured to school and picked up too..by my two favorite boys...THANKS Jordy...how special!
Thanks teenagers...if you are reading...we appreciate your maturity and nervousness....so cute.
*Sorry no pics......CAMERA=broken still...Don't worry...we have a MAC..so Whit's 5 month debut will be a good one!!!!
