Camping for a wedding weekend

Friday morning we headed up HERE for the DRAKE/WALTER wedding. What a fun weekend we had camping, hiking, exploring, DANCING, cocktail-houring, visiting, and watching a spectacular wedding take place. Thanks Jim and Sarah for a FAN-TAS-TIC weekend!!!
WE got to Brooks Lake....and not having been there before we headed to the first turnoff to camp right at the lake...so we set up camp...I started to feed Whityn...we unloaded all of our CAMPING gear...only to find out about 20 minutes later that we were supposed to be up closer to the lodge where the WEDDING party was reserved...so, we packed it all up...and did it all over again....
Hungry camper.
after setting up camp for the 2nd time...we got dressed up in our cowboy gear and headed off to the rehearsal....oh what fun. Jordy was a groomsman so he was all cowboy'ed up in new wranglers...
Whityn was loving climbing on the haystacks...chasing after all the dogs...and flirting with all the pretty girls.
Almost walking...he got more adventurous this weekend...letting go..standing on his own...feeling more confident i think. I feel like I am going to be running after him any second now.
What a view huh? I didn't take a LOT of pictures as the night grew dark..but there were plenty of photographers there capturing the moment...I will put the link up as soon as it hits the WORLD wide web...but know that we did stay for the PIG roast, speeches and band...our friend Hager was playing...and we had to hear it for a little bit...Whityn was quite the trooper.
Back at the campsite the next morning...Whityn broke out his Radio flyer UP and DOWN the dirt road...
After breakfast, we went on a hike...you had a choice of hiking, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing....and many more...
How 'bout this view? These are the pinnacles...pretty amazing huh!
On-top of BArber's point.
It was windy...Whityn had been asleep the whole way there..but woke at the summit...
crazy tree at the summit...
Little Whit in the camper...peering out during his NAP time....he totally fought it...started screaming like never before...I finally had to put him in the truck and drive the campsite loop to make him fall asleep...which he did about 30 minutes before the ceremony...i idled the engine...got dressed...applied lipstick...put hair in a knot..drank a beer and woke the little guy up to accompany me to the ceremony...Here we are....he looks like he just woke up huh?
Cocktails before ceremony.
GEtting seated.
Bagpipes led Sarah down the aisle....chill bumps and tears...
Can you find JOrdy?...I did my best to snap a few shots..while juggling my little cranky crawler...and trying to have a glass of wine...hahaha.
Post ceremony hug from JEnsey....
MORE pics to come when they post the link...I stopped taking pictures after this one...
